• SILVER JUBILEE ' CELEBRATIONS
MANY FORMER PUPILS ATTEND First-year pupils were largely repreented -among the 500 who attended the silver jubilee celebrations of the Hornby- School during the week-end On Saturday, after former pupils had leen assembled by the ringing ofthe* Stool bell by the oldest former pupil St '(Mr W. The* congratulations of the Paparua (County Council on the school’s jubifße were conveyed by Mr W. F. Mcritthur. . .
!v A commemoration tree was later f planted by Mr McTeigue. A banquet was held in the evening, Mr'T. A. Coulter, chairman of the committee, presiding.
