DISPUTE OVER LABOUR ENGAGEMENT

WESTPORT, April \ A dispute has arisen as to the hour at which labour should have been engaged for trimming coal on' the Union Steam Ship Company’s Kaimai. following a stoppage through rain; and the vessel is now* idle. The JCaimki arrived from Wellington on Wednesday, and it was partly loaded for the return to Wellington. Until the dispute is settled, no work is ejmected to take place on the vessel, ■'
