SHORTAGE OP TRADESMEN REPORTED DECISIONS OP ARMED . ° FORCES BOARD The shortage of bakers was so acute that the Wheat Research Institute intended to establish a school for bakers as soon as sufficient men desiring to learn the trade returned from - overseas, said Mr Q. Mackay, dairy hand, release from Air Force recommended; Auto Engineers, Ltd., for R. Spencer, engineer, dismissed; M« A. Scandrett. for M. A. Scandrett, trawler master, release from Navy recommended; Mrs , Grant ■ for _P. M. Grant, soldier, recommended that his service'be confined-to New .Zealand; G. H. Glover, for R.
