FIGHTING IN SOUTH CHINA
♦ JAPANESE INCREASE FORCES (Rec. 8 p.m.) CHUNGKING. Feb. 24. A Chinese Army officer admitted that the Japanese have resealed the Canton-Hankow railway gap after 20 days of see saw fighting, which cost the enemy 7200 casualties. The Japanese have moved three, more divisions fl’om Manchuria to south China.
