SEDDON AND WATKINS MEDALS

PRESENTATION AT GREY MAIN SCHOOL The Seddon medair were presented to Yvonne McClymont and Robert Steel, and the Watkins medals to Shirley Lochore (dux) and Alexander Cox (first boy), at a ceremony held at the Grey Main School Yvonne McClymont’s marks were equal to the highest so far reached in the competition for the Seddon medals. Mr W. D, Taylor, chairman of the school committee, and others congratulated the winners. The Seddon medals were presented by the Mayor of Greymouth (Mr F. A. Kitchingham). in the absence of the Hon. J. O’Brien, and the Watkins medals by the Rev. P. Kirkham.
