After losing her propeller off North Cape on Wednesday night, the Union Steam Ship Company’s steamer ».aimiro reached Auckland in tow on Thursday night, and was berthed with the assistance of two tugs. The Kaimiro, which is a smgle-screw steamer of 2562 tons, was left helpless when the mishap occurred until aygsof the Royal New Zealand Navy went out and put a line aboard. Fortunately there was only a moderate sea, and with the wind off shore the vessel began to drift further off the coast.
