AIRCRAFTMEN ADMITTED TO PROBATION

(P.A.) GISBORNE, November 18. Two aircraftmen, Roy Wijliam Gibb and William Thomas Cawkill. who were convicted in the Supreme Court of breaking and entering the sergeants’ canteen at Gisborne air station and slewing liquor, cigarettes, and money, were admitted to 18 months’ probation by the Chief Justice (the Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Myers). The prisoners were ordered, Jo make restitution. ______
