ALEXANDER—On October 28, 1944, at Whenuapai, Flight Sergeant Archibald Malcolm Charles, dearly loved sixth son of E. L. and the late A. Alexander, 91 Garlands road, Hillsborough; aged 24 years. Duty nobly done. (Result of an air accident.) ALEXANDER—On October 28, 1944, at Whenuapai, Flight Sergeant Archibald Malcolm Charles, dearly loved husband o$ Millicent Hazel Alexander; aged 24 years. Duty nobly done. (Result of an air accident.) CALLAN—On March 25, 1944, in Germany, Flying Officer Neville John Callan, dearly loved eldest son of Captain and Mrs F. J. Callan, Le Cren’s terrace, Timaru. Died from injuries received in action • and interred In the Kaiserslautern War cemetery; in his 22nd year. R.I.P. MACARTNEY— Temporary-Corporal Derek Ernest, dearly loved only son of Mr and Mrs W. G. Macartney. Tai Tapu; aged 22 years. Killed in action in Italy. MAUGER—On October 26, 1944, at Auckland, Sergeant Harold Edwin, R.N.Z.A.F., dearly loved husband of Phyllis Mauger and loved daddy of wee Carol, 335 Riverlaw terrace, and youngest son of Edwin and the late Caroline Mauger. (Result of aircraft accident.)
