WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast qf the South Island is: Fresh south-westerly winds. Weather cold and changeable, with occasional passing showers and some fair intervals. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather in Christchurch was fine and warm, during the week-end, with a high north-westerly wind yesterday. At 1 o’clock this morning the sky was clear and there was no wind. The barometer at 29.75 inches (1007.5 millibars) was rising.
