SICK AND WOUNDED ARRIVE

WELCOME AT LYTTELTON Sick and wounded personnel from the Middle East arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning to the strains of music played ■by a military band from a camp near Christchurch. There were many stretcher cases and these and walking cases were disembarked quickly, the hospital train leaving the port about 945 a.m. Cheers were called for on arrival by the Mayor of Lyttelton (Mr W. T. Lester) and members of the Lyttelton Red Cross presented each of the men with a packet of comforts.
