CANTERBURY CASH CLUB The 50-mile South Island Championship was held on Saturday by the Canterbury Cash Cycle Club. The race was from Wlgram to Southbrldge and back. L. Wood (12min) 7, W. Whiston (scr) 8. Bayliss secured fastest time, 2hr 2mln 19sec. AVON CLUB A 53-mlle road race was held by the Avon Amateur Cycling Club at Harewood on Saturday. T. A.
