NEIGHBOURHOOD PARK PROPOSED. —In a statement in the House of Representatives yesterday the Hon, R, Semple, Minister of Works, said that the Housing Department was seeking the co-opera-tion of the Christchurch City Council in an endeavour to retain for the use of citizens as a neighbourhood park, playground, and community centre the property of the late Mr J. A. Flesher at Richmond. The property comprises more than 10 acres and has many fine old trees.
