MODEL YACHTING
The Christchurch Model Yacht Club neld the third race of the season on Victoria Lake on Saturday, when 15 boats -tailed in changeable weather The racing was under the direction of the commodore, Mr J, Matthews, and resulted as follows: First Heat—A Smith's Imp (handicap 2mln) 1; E. Wright’s Defiance (6min 50sec) 2. Time, 45mln The only boats to finish within the time limit Second Heat.—B Georges Wren (Imm SOsec) 1; Defiance (6mln 50sec) 2; J Spencer’s Kia Ora fSmln 20sec) 3: R H Tindall’s Reveille (Imln) 4; R. C. Munro’s Dolnhln (scr) 5. Time. 27min Final—Defiance (10 points) 1; Imp and Wren (8 points) equal, 2; Kia Ora, 3 points) 4.
