INQUEST OPENED
An inquest was opened in Christchurch yesterday before the Coroner (Mr A. A. McLachlan) into the death of Hilda Jarvis, a widow, aged 58. of Bealey avenue, Christchurch, who died in the Christchurch Public Hospital on Sunday. She was admitted to the hospital on August 14, suffering from a wound in the throat. After evidence of identification had been given, the inquest was adjourned sine di^ : T’
