BANK OF N.S.W.
NOMINEES’ COMPANY FORMED
Known as the Bank of New South Wales Nominees Pty., Ltd., a company has been formed and registered in Sydney.
The company will provide a permanent organisation for the holding, as nominee of the bank of such stocks, shares, debentures, etc,, charged to the bank as security for overdrafts which, for various reasons, must be registered in the names of the nominees of the bank. It will also act as agent or attorney in the purchase, sale, and holding of shares, stocks, debentures etc., for customers or others. For many years those transactions have been carried out through the medium of individual officers of the bank nominated for that purpose, but, in the past, difficulties had arisen and heavy expense been incurred consequent on the necessity for vesting such stocks, shares, and debentures In new nominees by reason oi the illness, retirement, or death of an officer co nominated The company, having perpetual succession, will obviate such difficulties
