RUSSLEY CLUB To provide funds for sending parcels to members of the club serving overseas, Mr D. Swift presented a prize for a stroke competition. There were a large number of entries and the best cards were:—W.‘ T. Woods, 87, 16—71; H. J. McGavock, 83, 11—72; J. R. Crawshaw, 92, 20—72. A Stableford single was played on Saturday afternoon by members of the Russley Golf Club. Best cards were; G. A. Miles (5), 34 points: H. E. Radley (12). 32; R, S. Me-. RICHMOND HILL CLUB Results of a Stableford handicap played by members of the Richmond Hill 'Golf Club on Saturday were as fellows:—D. B. Treleaven (9), 31 points; H. D. Graham (8) 30 points; F. H. Howard (15), 29 points. The semi-finals of the Donnelly Cup knock-out competition resulted as follows;—R. S. Beveridge (9) beat G. G. F. C. Hamilton (9), 2 up; R. C, Saunders (9) beat R. D. Thompson (18), 6 and 5. In a play-off for a tie in the Rawnsley Cleek Canadian foursome handicap, R. C. Saunders and Miss M. Foster (17) and L. J. Treleaven and Miss P. Chandler (14) tied again, 5 down. , WAIMAIRI BEACH CLUB In the final of the Waimairl Cup, S. Morris beat W. A. Caldwell, 1 up. The first round of the Horwell foursome cup was won by W. Horwell and H. W, Walker 92, 22—70., pther scores were: P. Smith and L. Calvert 90, 16—74; G. Pitcaithly and T. de Mate 94, 18—75. M. Kunzlie was the winner• in a flag match played on Sunday afternoon. A special prize was given by M. L. Calvert was won by H. W. Walker. WAITIKIRI CLUB A bogey handicap was played at Waltlkirl at the week-end, and scores were as follows : M. W. Beaven (11), 3 down; A. R. Blank (scr), 5 down: N. Lange (11). 5 down; P. O. Schmidt (12), 5 down; D. BOloski (18), 51 down; F. Beban (14), 5 down. A Ladies’ Golf Union medal match played by members of the Ladies' Club, was won by Mrs K. G. Syminton, 114, 36 78. Other scores were:—Miss L. Harper, 119, 36—83; Mrs K. Hanna, 106,. 22—84; Miss J. BEDE’S COLLEGE OLD BOYS The annual match for the Aspell Cup for members of the St. Bede's, College Old Boys’ Association was played at Russley yesterday. A stroke handicap resulted in a dead-heat between C. Woodham and R. Jenkins, who, with a handicap of 24. recorded 74. J. Prendergast and B. Cunneen, with a net score of 75 each, were next on the list. The visitors’ handicap was won by J. Sullivan with a net score of 72. RAWHITI LADIES’ QLUB A Ladies’ Golf Union match played by the Rawhiti Ladies’ Golf Club in conjunction with a stroke match resulted:— A Grade.—Mrs R. Atkinson, 96, 18—78; Mrs J.
