RATTRAY BEQUESTS

PRESBYTERIAN INSTITUTIONS TO BENEFIT With the death of Mrs A. 1. Rattray, bequests of £4OOO to St. Andrew’s College and £2OOO to the Presbyterian Social Service Association, contained in the will of the late Mr A. I. Rattray will now come into operation. Presbyterians are considering the building of modern orphanages to take the place of the old buildings, which have been in use for so many years that they have now reached a stage where replacement is necessary. It is thought, therefore, that the bequest to the Presbyterian Social Service Association will be used towards such a purpose as this. The bequest to St. Andrew’s College is for the establishment and maintenance of a scholarship qr scholarships at the college. They will be known as the A. I. Rattray memorial scholarships.
