RETAIL VEGETABLE PRICES
LIMIT FIGURES FOR JUNE . The limit retail price for onions will be increased from 23d to 3d a pound all over New Zealand from June I. This is in terms of the all-the-year-round price orders for vegetables. Limit prices for other vegetables controlled by price orders will remain unchanged for June. The limit retail prices for -vegetables by the pound payable during June in the Canterbury and Otago districts are;-—potatoes, IJd; onions, 3d; pickier onions..3ld; cabbage.'2Jd; carrots, 13d: parsnips, 24d; swedes, Id; silver beet. sd; pumpkin, 3Jd; kumera, 43d. Excent for potatoes this schedule of prices applies also on the West, Coast. For potatoes in the West Coast towns the limit price is 2d a pound.
