INJURIES TO LEG
Officers were elected as follows at the annual meeting ot the Workers’ Educational Association in Christchurch:—president, Mr S. Schofield; vice-presidents, Messrs W, J. McCullough and Lincoln Efford: secretary, Mfr G. Manning: treasurer, Mr W. Davidson; auditor, Mr A. A. Bruce, librarian, Mrs A. Wilson; delegates to tutorial class committee, Mrs Wilson, Messrs McCullough. Efford, and A. A. Dingwall; delegates to advisory committee of adult education. Messrs McCullough. Efford, and Manning; delegate to Dominion Council, Mr Schofield.
William Lloyd, aged 48, of 12 Bass street, Woolston. suffered injuries to one of his legs in a railway accident at the Woolston station last evening. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital at 8.45 o'clock, and later his condition was reported to be satisfactory.
