HIGH SCHOOL STAFF APPOINTMENTS
The following appointments to the staffs of Christchurch high schools were approved by the Canterbury University College Council yesterday on the recommendation of the high schools and hostels committee:— . Christchurch West High School; Messrs D. G. Grant (B grade), C. L. Low (B grade, war-time). Christchurch Boys’ High School: Messrs E. J. Blackstock (D grade, wartime), E. Read, L. L. Pownall,.V. Wilkinson (all D grade), J. L. H. Hewland (C grade). Avonside Girls’ High School: Mrs B. Boyd (sports mistress). Miss I. C. L. Thorn (C grade), Miss J. Simon (D grade home science). Christchurch Girls’ High School: Miss E. C. R. Wilson (D grade).
