OFFENSIVE IN SLOVENIA

JUGOSLAV PARTISAN FORCES LONDON, May 26. The Germans are moving three divisions out of the Isonza Valley, between Trieste and Fiume. in an effort to reinforce the German troops in Italy, according to authoi'itative reports received in London. Marshal Broz has simultaneously launched a counter-offensivd in Slovenia aimed at striking against the weakened German garrisons. Battles are raging along a wide sector facing the Austrian province of Carinthia, where Austrian patriots are already active. The Free Jugoslav radio, addressing Jugoslavs called up for forced labour in Germany, appealed to them to sabotage machinery, burn farms, and poison cattle.
