Hamua, Flying Officer Trigg won the Victoria Croi for sinking an enemy submarine after his aircraft was disabled. The aircraft and crew were all lost and the award was made on the report of survivors from the U-boal. Others in the aircraft, who are included in the above list, were Flight Sergeants Bennett and j Frost, Flying Officer Marinovich. and Sergeant Soper. j
