LAND SALES ACT
.Sir,—Your correspondent “Suspicious” a very interesting query in regard to the operations of buyers. The real position is that the average individual, having searched the market carefully and made his own selection, is a great deal more concerned to house his family adequately than he is to save a £SO note. The inevitable result is that buyers are moved to attempt their own adjustments rather than be thrown back on to a shrinking market, because every property taken off the market makes it so much harder to get suited.—Yours, etc., JAY NIB.
