Sometimes the “ ticket ”is lost . . sometimes it is forgotten ... and then when they call it is extremely difficult for assistants to pick out their particular garment from among the thousands of garments that are stored by Taylor’s awaiting collection. Time is lost and the customer unavoidably delayed . . . customers are urged to always be sure and bring the “ ticket ” with them when calling for completed work. Then again, people often ask a friend to “call al Taylor’s and pick up my Suit or Frock ”... this is quite alright it they are given the “ ticket ” for the work at the same time . . . but very little thought is required to realise what is involved when there’s no “ ticket ” and the “ friend ” is not even sure what the garment looks like.
