“Open Mind" writes: “I was'amazed, visiting Christchurch, to discover the lack of cabarets and night clubs, where one may dance and drink openly and enjoy listening to an orchestra while having one’s supper. Surely this beautiful city isn’t afraid of 'going ahegd’? I’m sure I don’t know how our American comrades fare for entertainment down here, although the hospitality is great."
