MODEL YACHTING
The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed the eleventh club race of the season on Saturday at Victoria Lake. Twelve boats sailed in a fresh north-east wind. Results:—
First Heat.—B. George’s Hori (handicap Imin 20scc) 1, J. Matthew’s Alpha (4min lOsec) 2, M. Spicer’s Mako (4min 50sec) 3, R. Reid’s Banshee (lOsec) 4. R. H. Tindall’s Reveille (scr) 5. Time. 27min 4sec. Second Heat.—Hori 1, E. Hodge’s Linnet (3min 20sec) 2, Mako 3, F. Jago’s Maana (2min 20sec) 4, H. Smith’s Imp (Imin lOsec) 5. Time. 26min 50sec. Final result.—Hori, 16 points, 1; Mako, 6 points, 2; Alpha and Linnet (equal), 5 points, 3.
