MR FRASER’S HEALTH

« WELL ON THE MEND ” (P.A.)' WELLINGTON, December 6. The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser), who for the last 10 days has been back in hospital, returned Rome to-day. At a State luncheon to-day in honour of members of the Canadian press delegation the Deputy-Prime Minister (the Hon. W. Nash) said that Mr Fraser had to go into hospital again for the removal of a small abscess. He had come out of hospital that day and was well on the mend. The Prime Minister was confined to his home for more than a fortnight after the Victoria Cross investiture celebrations at Ruatoria on October 6, and towards the end of the month he entered Lewisham Hospital for an operation for an internal abscess. He left hospital on November 18, but a week ago last Friday returned there.
