, TUESDAY (Before Mr E. C. Levvey, S.M.) CHARGES OF THEFT Charged with the theft of household goods of a total value of £l2, and on a second charge of theft of goods valued at £2 ss, William Ralph Osborne was remanded in custody to appear on November 8, the probation officer then to furnish a report. CHARGE DISMISSED A youth of 17 years pleaded guilty to the theft of a shirt valued at 13s 6d. The Magistrate said he would extend the privileges of the First Offenders Act and dismiss the charge. TRAFFIC REGULATIONS For parking on the wrong side of the street, Harry Barker, Douglas F. Dailey, Cyril Henry Jaggar, and Stanley Robert Miln were each fined 10s. For having no warrant of fitness, Ivan Thomas Bennington was fined 10s and Eileen Kane ss. Robert Henry Brockie was ordered to pay costs on a charge of driving without due care and attention, and Ernest Robinson was fined 20s for parking nine feet out from the kerb. * For passing on an Intersection, James Alexander Robertson was fined 10s.
