The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed the eighth club race of the Reason on Saturday at Victoria Lake, where 12 boats sailed in a tricky southerly breeze. Following were results; — First Heat.—C. White’s Amy (handicap, 4min), 1; W. P. Kingston’s Sans Alout (3min 20sec), 2; B. George’s Hori (oOsecj, 3; R. H. Tindall's Reveille (scr), 4; R. Reid’s Banshee (40sec), 5; time, 37min 13 sec. Second Heat.—A. Laycock’s Windsor (handicap. 7min) 1; Sans Atout, 2; Banshee, 3; Amy, 4; W. Evan’s Greta (3mln 40sec) and Hori, equal, 3; time, 41min 20 sec. Final.—Amy and Sans Atout, equal, with - 10 points, 1; Windsor, 8 points, 3; Banshee, 4 points, 4.
