AVONSIDE GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS ■ Though there was a heavy track after the rain, N. Gourley set a new record In the senior hop. step, and jump event, and H. Rountree broke the record in the 100 yards junior championship at the Avonside Girls’ High School sports, held at the school grounds yesterday. Several fast times were recorded in the intermediate section, which has been on the programme only during the last two years. The inter-house marching was exceptionally good, and. judged by Messrs A. E. Flower, W. C. Colee, and Lieutenant B. Boyd, was won by Charlotte Jane House. N. Gourley won the senior championship, J. Munn won the intermediate championship. and H.
