PLEASANT POINT YACHT CLUB
A race held following the opening of the season of the Pleasant Point Yacht Club during the week-end was won by Kestrel (C. Baillle) 1, Sandy 2, and Challenge 3. The president (Mr Underhay) declared the season open, and Mr E. Rountree presented trophies won during the year as follows:—A E. W. Tyson’s cup, E. Rountree’s Pet: junior Stacey cup, E. McGregor’s Joan; senior Stacey cup, C. Barter’s Winsome: Cairo Yacht Pennant cup, G. Bolton’s Joan; Robson Pennant cup, J Douglas’s Pet: Pioneer membership, C, Barter’s Pet; Underhay Memorial cup, C. Barter’s Winsome; Ostler cup, E. Rountree’s Pit; Clements cup, R. Price's Vanity.
