HOCKEY
TOURNAMENT AT METHVEN
A special train from Christchurch conveyed 250 passengers to Methven when the Methven Ladies’ Hockey Club held its eleventh annual tournament. The weather was fine during the day until the last games were being played, when heavy rain fell Results were:— Men —Senior A grade, Sydenham; senior B, Wlgram A; junior, Sydenham C. Women.—Senior A, Methven; senior B, Hororata; junior, Sumner.
