WAIXIKIRI-BUEWOOD In the quarter-final of the Waitikiri Cup, A, R. Blank (scr) beat J. Mercer (22), 2 up and 1. In the semi-final, L, Haynes (20) beat Mrs Latham (25), 4 up and 3, apd A. R. Blank (scr) beat H. Throp (9), 4 up and 3, A Stableford bogey match played during the week-end resulted in a win for A. R. Blank, who, playing from scratch, handed in a card of 31. Other good scores
were: L. A. Haynes (20) 28, and G, Sinclair (18) 24.
