ACCIDENTS
MAN SCALDED BY TALLOW When ho was scalded by tallow from a bursting pipe on a digester. Mr Charles Claydon. aged 52, of 107 Kilmore street. Christchurch,, received burns which necessitated his admission to the Christchurch Public Hospital last evening. His condition is satisfactory. KNOCKED OVER BY CAR Mr Tim Hallahan. of 888 Main South road, Templeton, was knocked over by a car at Templeton last evening. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital, suffering from concussion. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
