HOME GUARD SERVICE
APPEALS BY SLAUGHTERMEN The 1 following reserved decisions were announced on Saturday by the No. 1 Appeal Board in Christchurch in appeals against Home Guard service; C S. Shaw, slaughterman, adjourned for review until July, and transferred to Second Division of the Home Guard; E. B. Horniblow, slaughterman, appeal dismissed, New Zealand service to be from July 1 to November 30 in each year: the Horne Guard appeal was adjourned for review until July, and meanwhile he is to he transferred to the Second Division; K. E A. Robinson, slaughterman, adjourned sine die, to be reviewed in July, and to be transferred to the Second Division.
The following appeals were adjourned for review in July, and the appellants were directed to serve in the Second Division of the Home Guard:—G. A, Wood, slaughterman; W. A. Craig, slaughterman: W. W. Matthams, slaughterman; A. E. Wilson, slaughterman: N. C. Stevens, slaughterman; and Ross Lowtitt, slaughterman.
