THREE-BALL PAIRS TOURNAMENT A three-ball pairs bowling tournament , was played on the Shirley green on Friday and Saturday. Six rounds of section play were completed on Saturday afternoon, leaving seven pairs with five or more wins. These were Gaffney and Turpin (Canterbury) and Munn and Ives (Canterbury), with six wins, and McDougall and Quirke (Spreydon), Gibson and Soanes (Shirley). Shaw and Giles (Canterbury), Johns and Ramsay (Shirley), and Harris and Iggo (Sydenham), each with five wins.
