National Party Nominations.—Referring to a statement published yesterday. that Captain K. I. Armour withdrew from the selection ballot as National Party candidate for the Christchurch East by-election, the secretary of the National Party Electoral Committee said last evening that Captain Armour had refused nomination because of pressure of military duties.
