FINAL READING OF STATIONS DISTRICT CHAIRMEN ELECTED The Methodist Conference concluded its deliberations in Christchurch last night. Many of the North Island representatives left after the afternoon session. In all probability Conference will again assemble in the South Island next year. If the usual schedule is adhered to, Dunedin will be the choice for 1944. Conference was occupied in the mam “with domestic affairs. The following district chairmen were elected: Auckland, the Rev. E. T. Olds (also Conference president); South Auckland, the Rev. C. H. Olds; Taranaki-Wanga-nui, the Rev. E, D. Patchett; Hawke’s Bay-Manawatu, the Rev. W. T. Blight; Wellington, the Rev. W. A. Burley; Nelson, the Rev. C. Blair; North Canterbury, the Rev. J. H. Allen; South Canterbury, the Rev. W. W. Avery; Otago-Southland, the Rev. W. G. Slade; Solomon Islands, the Rev, J. F. Goldie. The district secretaries will be: Auckland, the Rev. A. E. Waite; South Auckland, the Rev. J. L. Mitchell; Taranaki-Wanganui, the Rev. G. R. H. Petersen; Hawke’s Bay-Manawatu, the Rev. A. R. Penn; Wellington, the Rev. F. L. Parker; Nelson, the Rev. J. D. Grocott; North Canterbury, the Rev. C. R. Taylor; South Canterbury, the Rev. R. B. Gosnell; Otago-Southland, the Rev. J. M.
