IN reply to-our. recent advertisement in Local Papers regarding the formation of a Canterbury Potato Growers’ Association, wo wish to stale that we have received many replies from Growers representing a substantial tonnage in Potatoes definitely in favour of this Association, and already many Growers are prepared to join such an Association. A reply will be sent in due course to each of those Growers who wrote. In the meantime we would like to hear from others who are interested. We would remind you that this question is of vital importance to small as well as big growers. By having your own organisation all information concerning Potatoes is immediately made available to you. We would like also to make mention of the fact that the one aim of this Association is to co-operate with those concerned in the Marketing of Potatoes so that every grower will be able to market his crop fairly and equitably so that when the question of surplus potatoes is being settled every grower will know exactly where he stands.
