Food Shortage in Europe.— Replying to a question in the House of Commons about the food situation in Europe, Mr Dingle Foot, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Economic Warfare, said that, broadly speaking, actual starvation was experienced only in'districts or among communities where the Germans were employing famine as an instrument of policy. —Rugby, February 23.
