RELEASE FROM CAMP RECOMMENDED
400 APPLICATIONS FOR FREEZING WORKERS
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, January 15. Four hundred applications for the release of freezing workers from camp were recommended by the Armed Forces Appeal Board at Auckland this morning.
The men are employed by three companies, and had been granted leave by the Army up .to 40 days, but this was not sulficiem. An extension to the end of April is nccossary. The majority of the men are unfit lor overseas service.
