RAILWAY TRAVEL Restrictions in North Island Whilst railway travel in the South Island will not be re stricted unless war requirements compel otherwise, persons cob templating journeys exceeding 100 miles in the North Island must obtain travel permits before leaving their South Island stations. Applications must be supported by convincing reasons of essentiality. Your Stationmaster will supply full particulars.
