MR T. I). SCOTT, M.A., the first assistant, has been appointed principal of the Danncvirke' High School m succession to Mr E. N. Hogbcn, who was recently appointed headmaster ot Wellington College. Mr Scott, who has for some time been serving in the Army with the rank of second lieutenant, was educated at Timaru, and at Canterbury University College.
