MANPOWER

Sir,—l heartily agree with “Soldier’s Daughter’’ and the R.S.A. and wish to congratulate them also. One only needs to go into Malvern to see what is going on. Whole families are getting off under the plea of more production, and buying up land by hundreds of acres, with the one and only object, to keep out of the war. They have plenty of time for race meetings, deer stalking parties, etc., with what seems an endless supply of petrol. Round these men up and save the married men with four and five children before it is too late.—Yours, etc.. SOLDIER’S SISTER. December 3, 1942.
