NEW POSITION CREATED

Major R. D. Cox has been appointed Assistant-Director of Welfare Services and will bo attached to headquarters, Southern Military District. Major Cox is expected to take over his duties on Tuesday. . The new position to be occupied by Major Cox involves direction of educational and recreational aspects of military life. He will organise study courses for soldiers and arrange lectures. In addition he will be in charge of concerts and other entertainments and sports activities. Major Cox is a school teacher in civilian life..At one time he was a member of the staff of the secondary department of the Pleasant Point District High School, but recently he had held an appointment in the Wellington district. _____
