FERTILISER RATIONING SCHEME

OPINION OF PRODUCTION

COUNCIL

Advice that the National Council of Primary Production would be giving consideration in January to the rationing of fertiliser for the 1943-44 season was received from the Director of Primary Production (Mr R. B. Tennent) by the North Canterbury District Council of Primary Production at its meeting yesterday. Mr Tennent asked if the council was satisfied or not with the present rationing scheme. The council decided to reply that it was definitely of the opinion that the present system be retained if possible.
