GERMAN PEOPLE WARNED

HEAVIER RUSSIAN BLOWS PLANNED LONDON. Nov. 30. The Russian offensives on the southern ;mcl central fronts are believed to be the forerunner of an allonl attempt to smash the German army this winter. Moscow radio, in a broadcast to the German people, declared that the bulk of the Red Army, still held in reserve, was about to launch a decisive blow against Germany. The Moscow radio urged the German people to get rid of their Nazi leaders, "The bulk of the Red Army is not assembled for the defence of ■Stalingrad, It stands somewhere else, preparing for zero hour to strike a decisive blow.” said the announcer. "Your leaders will soon have more astonishing surprises. Do you prefer to wait tor a decisive blow from outside, or will you take your fate into your own hands now?" Admitting that the Allied offensives in Russia and North Africa took the German High Command by surprise, the Berlin radio stated; "The High Command had to take decisions on the spur of the moment. The Allied nations, for the first time, attempted to storm our fortress by a concerted rtrategic plan. Gigantic forces have been hurled against the Axis, regardless of risk, and the military offensive has been co-ordinated with a political offensive of intimidations and threats. "The enemv has brought into the battle military and moral reserves, and his propaganda gunfire has grown ir.lo a crescendo to wear down the solidarity among the Axis Powers and undermine and split up the people and their leaders.”
