MILK FOR SCHOOLS

Sir —I commend the Canterbury School Committees’ Association to become conversant with the suPP °* milk to schools. No provision has been made to supply milk to schools next winter! It will be recalled that owing to the shortage of milk last winter schools were cut out, and started again early in September, obviously Irom milk that would otherwise have been separated and the cream sent to the butter factory for export. This supply of milk will finish about the end ot May. In the circumstances to continue Ihe supply of milk to schools next winter will hardly be possible.—Yours, etc " H. BLISS. Heathcote, November 26, 1942.
