FRENCH FAT RATION REDUCED
* (Rec. 8.30 p.m.) NEW YORK. Nov. 28, The fat ration in Vichy France has been reduced to 140 grammes and the chocolate ration for children has been suspended, says the Berne correspondent of the “New York Times.” Official propaganda blames the British and American occupation of Africa for the measures. Reports from Germany indicate that the Germans are also suffering shortages as>. a result of the occupation of French Africa, from which much food was previously shipped to Germany.
