DOG SHOW AT ASHBURTON
GOOD RANGE OF ENTRIES A comprehensive range of dogs was paraded at a special show held at Ashburton on Saturday. The show was held at the request of Christchurch exhibitors because of the small number of shows held in the South Island this year, and 68 entries were received. The best dog of the show was Mrs S. F. Storey’s wirehaired fox terrier bitch, Tynedale Tactic. Awards were : Toy Section—Australian terrier, dog, open: Mrs O. Barr 1. Pug-Dog, novice: Mrs Neilson 1. Open: Mrs F. Wcdd 1.
